Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Field Supervisor (Safety) on a contractual basis. The online application process started on March 5, 2025, and will remain open until March 25, 2025.

Post: Field Supervisor (Safety)
Total Vacancies: 28
Contract Duration: Initially 2 years, extendable up to 5 years based on project needs.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Full-time Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Fire Technology & Safety) from a recognized institute with a minimum of 55% marks. Higher qualifications (B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E.) are not permitted.
Experience: Minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience in safety implementation at work sites.
Age Limit: Maximum 29 years as of March 25, 2025 (Relaxation: OBC-3 years, SC/ST-5 years, Ex-Servicemen as per norms).

Application Fee:

General/OBC/EWS: ₹300
SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen: Exempted

Selection Process:

Screening Test: Computer-based test with 75 questions (50 Technical + 25 Aptitude), qualifying marks:
- UR/EWS: 40%
- Reserved categories: 30%
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo verification.
Medical Examination: Candidates must meet PGCIL’s prescribed medical standards.
