HIRING OF MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS

A walk-in interview will be conducted for the engagement of 03 Hired Medical Practitioners (HMPs) on a contractual basis at Ordnance Factories Hospital, Ambernath.

Number of HMPs to be hired: 03
Period of Contract: 6 months or less (not extendable, except under specific conditions)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: MBBS or Equivalent Degree recognized by MCI / NMC
Registration: Candidate should be registered with the Central/State Medical Council
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in government or military hospitals.

Remuneration:

Salary: Rs. 75,000/- per month (consolidated)
Daily Rate of Deduction for Absence: Rs. 2,500/- per day
Additional Benefits: One day off after DMO duty, compensatory leave for work on national holidays.

General Terms & Conditions:

The contract shall be for 6 months or less from the date of agreement. No extension will be granted unless a clear vacancy exists and the performance is satisfactory. An individual can only be hired once in a calendar year. Retired doctors may be considered for subsequent terms with prior approval.
The contract does not guarantee continuation or automatic extension.
Either party may terminate the agreement by giving 7 days’ notice. The contract will be terminated if the practitioner is found to be mentally or physically unfit.
A medical examination will be conducted at OFH-Ambernath before the contract begins. Police Verification Report (PVR) is mandatory if posted inside the factory premises.
Sundays and National Holidays (Republic Day, Independence Day, and Gandhi Jayanti) are off. If called for work, compensatory leave will be granted.
No transport or medical facilities (except first aid in emergencies) will be provided.
The HMP must perform all regular medical duties, including handling emergencies and accidents.
The HMP shall work as Duty Medical Officer (DMO) once a week and will receive a day off after the duty.
The HMP can issue Sick/Unfit Certificates for up to 03 days, subject to countersignature by a regular MO. Normally, HMPs will not issue fitness certificates.
The HMP cannot exercise financial powers or conduct administrative tasks, including pre-employment medical examinations. Any medical recommendations must be approved by the MO I/C.
Referral of patients to other hospitals requires prior approval from the MO I/C.
The HMP cannot write Annual Performance Assessment Reports (APAR) for any staff.
The MO I/C of OFH-Ambernath reserves the right to alter the process due to legal directives, government instructions, or other reasons without further notice. The decision of the MO I/C will be final.
Documents Required for Interview:

Original and photocopies of MBBS degree certificate
Valid registration certificate from Central/State Medical Council
Proof of identity (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport)
Experience certificates, if any
Two passport-sized photographs

Reporting Time: Candidates must report by 08:30 AM on the day of the interview with all required documents. Late arrivals will not be entertained.
