  1. Swachhhata Mein Jan Bhagidari (Public Participation in Cleanliness):
  • This pillar emphasizes the importance of public involvement and raising awareness about cleanliness.
  • The Ministry has successfully organized 227 activities to encourage citizens to take part in cleanliness efforts, making it a collective responsibility.
  • The aim is to instill a sense of duty towards cleanliness in every citizen, reflecting the spirit of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
  1. Sampoorna Swachhata (Complete Cleanliness):
  • Focused on transforming neglected or challenging areas, often referred to as black spots, into clean and healthy spaces.
  • 90 activities have been completed under this pillar, targeting locations that pose significant health and environmental risks.
  • Local bodies, especially in rural areas, are encouraged to identify these black spots and mobilize citizens and organizations for Mega Cleanliness Drives.
  1. Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivir (Safety and Welfare of Sanitation Workers):
  • This pillar aims to prioritize the health and safety of sanitation workers, known as Safai Mitras.
  • A total of 185 activities have been executed to enhance their working conditions.
  • The initiative includes health camps to provide preventive health checkups, ensuring Safai Mitras and their families have access to necessary healthcare services.
